This course, designed in 1938 by Tom Simpson in the hills of the principality of Liège, offers a real golfing challenge. It's a golfer's dream, set in superb wooded countryside where its 18-hole fairways roll over magnificently hilly ground. The two first holes give the impression of an easy course, but from then on the variety of the terrain soon brings the golfer back down to earth. Precision driving is required to follow the line of the woods around each fairway, and accurate iron shots are needed when approaching the excellent greens.
