The golf course was carved out of undulating and rocky terrain. Although situated over a hill from the Gary Player CC, the Lost City?s layout is very different in character. The fairways are fairly wide and the golfing greens receptive.

On this golf course you should keep an eye out for the Nile crocodiles in the water hazard left of the golfing green on the par-three 13th hole. The green, shaped to resemble the continent of Africa, is protected by nine bunkers.
