Gloria Golf Resort's golf course has been designed by the French golf course designer Michel Gayon, the Belgian golf project management company J.N.C International with the cooperation of Turkish Consultants, to suit the Mediterranean climate and impress even the most demanding golfer. 

The Old Course is already famous in Europe as the venue of 3 previous European Seniors Tour Tournaments, and a European Mid Amateur Championship. The course opened in 1997 and, through its popularity with European golf tourists, "it is now one of the most favoured golf detsinations in Europe". Many of the guests have returned there on more than a dozen occasions. Playing Gloria for the first time can be a little confusing, on several holes you may stand on a tee and see what appears to be a wide inviting fairway, but don't be fooled, check your course planner as you often have to place your tee shot either right or left to have a clear sight of the green.
