Ashburnham Golf Club One of the finest Welsh links courses; they celebrated their centenary in 1994 by hosting the Amateur Home Internationals.
Testament to the continued superb standard of the course they have been invited to host this prestigious tournament again in 2010 together with the Ryder Cup Wales 2010 PGA Welsh Open. These are the latest in a long line of important tournaments held here since 1900’s when a no lesser celebrity than Harry Vardon added his endorsement with “The course I like best in Wales”.
Members and Visitors alike appreciate the true links experience that this historic venue provides, and together with the stunning scenery and a warm welcome offered in the clubhouse makes Ashburnham an experience not to be missed.
Clubhouse
Our friendly staff provide both members and guests alike with a warm welcome and offer a full bar service together with a varied menu serving from a light snack through to a full dinner.
Surrounded by signs of the extensive history of the Club the lounge provides panoramic views over the course to the Gower beyond. Sink into a relaxing chair or maybe the afternoon sun will entice you to sit and ponder the day’s golf over a refreshing drink on the terrace.
The ‘Spike Bar’ offers that well deserved drink as you come straight from the course, and after making use of the extensive locker room facilities, dinner can be served in the dining room.
